Click on the speed that you are interested in. FLS means 'Full Line Speed' and is the maximum non-restricted speed which your DSL connection will support according to your distance from the exchange/cabinet (based on ADSL1 technology).

Customise a plan to suit your own requirements

Choose your monthly usage by setting a Managed Data Usage (maximum limit) based upon a monthly dollar amount or a monthly data amount in GB or MB.

Alternatively you can opt for either:

Unlimited Data Usage - where you are billed for the base plan and only the data that you use at 0.1 cents per MB ($1.02 per GB).

Torrent - where you are billed for the base plan and data used between 8am-2am (Peak) at 0.15 cents per MB ($1.54 per GB). The first 75GB of data used per calendar month between 2am and 8am (Off-Peak) is free. All Off-Peak data after 75GB is charged at 0.25 cents per MB ($2.56 per GB).

'Managed Data Usage' allows you to create a capped plan

Select 'Managed Data Usage' and drag the slider to a point that suits you based on either your budgeted monthly spend or your monthly data requirements.

You can also enter values directly into the '$', 'GB' or 'MB' fields to help you decide on what option suits your needs the best.

You will get billed for your base plan and for any data that you use at 0.1 cents per MB ($1.02 per GB) up to the Managed Data Usage threshold.

You will not be billed for any usage beyond the Managed Data Usage but your speed will be reduced to 64Kbps/64Kbps for the rest of the month.

If you want to change your Managed Data Usage prior to the end of the month, login to the self service portal and alter your plan accordingly.

'Unlimited Data Usage' allows you to create an uncapped plan

Select 'Unlimited Data Usage' if you do not want a monthly usage cap.

You will be billed for your base plan and for any data that you use at 0.1 cents per MB ($1.02 per GB).

Monthly Charges

For a plan with a Managed Data Usage, the 'Maximum Cost' is the maximum that you will pay per month for the service.

If you use less data than what you selected for your plan then you will only be billed for what you used.

For the Unlimited Data Usage plans, the 'Base Cost' is the minimum monthly charge for the service with all data usage charged at 0.1 cents per MB ($1.02 per GB)

For the Torrent plans, the 'Base Cost' is the minimum monthly charge for the service with all data usage between 8am and 2am (Peak) charged at 0.15 cents per MB ($1.54 per GB). All data usage between 2am and 8am (Off-Peak) is charged at 0.25 cents per MB ($2.56 per GB) after the free 75GB Off-Peak data allowance per calendar month is exceeded.

What data traffic is accountable?

Xnet Stream, River, Flood & Fusion plans measure all National & International usage. Local traffic is not measured.

This means that your Email, Xnet VFX (Voice over Broadband) & Xnet hosted content and game servers (such as Recoil) do not count against your overall usage.

'Torrent' allows you to create an uncapped plan with free Off-Peak data

Select 'Torrent' if you do not want a monthly usage cap and want 75GB free data during Off-Peak periods (2am-8am).

You will be billed for the base plan and any data used between 8am-2am (Peak) at 0.15 cents per MB ($1.54 per GB). Data used between 2am and 8am (Off-Peak) is free until you use 75GB within a calender month. Off-Peak data above the 75GB allocation is charged at 0.25 cents per MB ($2.56 per GB).

Note: Free traffic on Torrent Data Use plans is limited to the first 75gigabytes of off-peak use: Between 2am and 8am, per calendar month. After this each additional off-peak megabyte is charged at 0.25 of a cent ($2.56 per gigabyte). All daytime traffic is charged at a flat rate of 0.15 of a cent ($1.53 per gigabyte).

As of November 1 2008 there is a $99 disconnection fee if a customer cancels their service within the first 12 months. This fee reduces by $8.25 for each month your service is active with WorldxChange (ie: after 6 months the disconnection fee will be $49.50). When joining from another provider, a churn fee of $25 is applicable. Connection and Wiring costs $149 on top of a provisioning fee, and is where a technician will visit your house. A Connection and Wiring Cost is normally required where you have 4 or more phone jacks in use or a monitored alarm. All prices include GST.
